- Tournament Entry
- By invitation only.
- Event Accommodation
- Accommodation has been set aside by the organisers and is ready to be taken over by the attending anglers. Please phone Lorraine, Ken or Martin at Lakeside Holiday apartments and River Resort

- Both of the accommodations mentioned above are less than 2 minutes from the tournament start location. The local tavern, “The Riv” is on the water next to the tournament start location.
- Fishing Format
- 2-Day, cumulative weight tournament. All eligible fish mush be weighed alive and released in healthy condition.
- No Fishing
- Monday October 20th up to and including Friday the 21st of November within the tournament arena.
- Boat Allocation
- The Foreshore of the River Resort Grounds, Tatham Road, South Yunderup, Western Australia.
- 9:00am – 9:30am Friday, 21st of November.
- Lowrance Navigation Day
- Friday, 21st of November.
- Anglers are allowed on the water in the grand final kayaks between 10:00am – 2:00pm (Revised 17.11.2014). No angler is allowed on the tournament waterway on Friday outside these times.
- Navigation is so the anglers can familiarise themselves with the kayak they will be fishing out of for the event. There is strictly NO fishing in the tournament arena on Friday 20th of November.
- Registration
- From 5:00pm till 5:30pm Friday the 21st of November. Bring your Type 1 PFD for inspection by the Event Staff.
- Briefing
- 5:30pm Friday the 21st of November. It is mandatory to attend the briefing.

- Session Times
- Start times for Saturday – 7:00am and Sunday – 6:00am.
- Finish time on Saturday the 21st of November will be 3:00pm.
- Finish time on Sunday the 22nd of November will be 2:00pm.
- ABT Membership
- All competitors need to be ABT members to fish the Grand Final.
- Launch Location
- The Foreshore of the River Resort Grounds, Tatham Road, South Yunderup, Western Australia.
- No Go Zones
- TBA.
- Weigh In Site
- The Foreshore of the River Resort Grounds, Tatham Road, South Yunderup,Western Australia.
- Prizes
- Grand Final Winner will be granted a slot in Australian Fishing Championships (AFC) representing Team Hobie as well as sponsors packs and prizes.
- Tournament Dinner
- There will be a tournament dinner on Saturday November the 22th at The Riv Tavern consisting of a buffet dinner. Each angler will be given one ticket at the registration for the Saturday night tournament dinner as a part of their entry into the 2014 Hobie kayak Bream Series Grand Final. Anglers must purchase their own drinks. If any angler wishes to bring a partner or friend please notify Hobie media department by emailing your and you guests details so the booking can be amended in advance. Any extra guests that you will be bringing to the tournament dinner will be $30.00 per head, Hobie must be notified by the 17th of November.

- The Kayak
Hobie will provide the angler with a fitted out Hobie Pro Angler 12 kayak with the following accessories:
- Lowrance Elite-5 CHIRP fish finder and Chartplotter.
- 12 volt battery and battery charger for the fish finder.
- 1” Ram ball mounted in the mast tube for anglers to add personal recording devices.
- Hobie Livewell.
- 6 volt battery and 6 volt battery charger for Hobie Livewell.
- Hobie Anchor trolley.
- Hobie Drift Chute.
- Hobie Stake out pole.
- Twin Steering handles fitted.
- Two small Blue Plano boxes
- No other accessories or decals can be added to the kayak.
Don’t Forget your
- Fishing gear.
- Landing net.
- PFD Type 1.
- ABT membership card or number.
Anglers will be asked sign a check-out checklist when they are allocated their kayak on Friday between 9:00am and 9:30am.
This same checklist will be produced by Hobie staff to check-in the kayak and accessories when the boat is handed back over after the completion of the competition on Sunday.
If there is any items damaged or missing the angler may incur charges.
It is the responsibility of each competitor to ensure the supplied 12 volt fish finder battery and the 6 volt livewell batteries are charged before they take the kayak on the water each day.
After the allocation on Friday, the battery, charger, drift chute, Stake out pole and sounder are the responsibility of the angler for the duration of the event.
The angler must take the, fish finder head unit, batteries and battery chargers home with them on Friday and Saturday nights for security and charging.
